This is very useful for things like buying things on foreign sites, like Bookwalker, which even its English page uses Japanese Paypal.

At first they just shat on me the whole game after asked if I was really level 1. The matchmaking on these games are just shit in my opinion. I was scared from playing online again.

  • I feel like I'm genshin there's not really much need for grind, it's just really the presence of vocal minmaxers that make people feel like they are obligated to do big damage on every hit, most of my teams are under-leveled and just fun-based even at my ar of 50 Hell, my main dps is a geo aether (Also Mihoyo has some really good story writing compared to others in the gacha industry so give them a chance? The history is my favorite part of the game)

  • Listening to you guys talk about oversaturating of media and being too plugged into the internet, I just wanted to say that it sounds like you're experiencing burnout and a lack of a sustainable work-life balance (and also internet-irl life balance). I think this is very common for people in the 20-35 age range, because we remember a time growing up before the internet and can sense that being overly connected to an online world isn't healthy mentally or physically. I think it's perfectly acceptable, and honestly preferable, to set boundaries around how you interact with the internet and all of your apps. I can also understand struggling to maintain these boundaries, esp when you see other people around you being more available online or being more plugged in, and wishing you could handle it as well as they could - and wondering if you're the outlier and everyone else is just normal. And I also understand being addicted to the internet, bc let's face it: most of us are. But I believe it's important to remember that humans' brains have not evolved very far past the time when we were cavemen, and we are not wired to handle living virtually on the internet 24/7, forsaking our irl lives and relationships and hobbies. This is why I always wonder how you guys handle your careers as FIbothrs, bc you have to think so often about your life on the internet and can't unplug for an extended period of time very easily... It's both impressive and a bit scary. Anyway, I hope you guys are doing well on your end and not letting yourself be subsumed by the internet.

  • Very relatable listening to you guys talk about your struggle with watching/liking as much anime as you did when you were younger. Personally, I've kind of concluded that my motivation to watch things has changed as I've gotten older, and bc my free time is so limited, I want to get a special kick out of the things I watch - anime or otherwise. For me, that means I only really want to watch something if it'll move me emotionally. Not many shows get me invested or have a good payoff with the ending, so I've become super picky about what I even choose to start watching... Also, I've seen enough storylines that most plots don't feel new or exciting anymore, they just feel like they're recycling another story I've already seen or read about. Overall, I'm just left frustrated and emotionally numb with the media available to consume.

  • I don't quite see the "falling out of anime" thing happening to me at this point. I've been watching 9+ shows in every season since like 2007. I think the main problem is too many people just binge it and only consume anime. I only really watch 1-2 episodes a day while I'm working out and have nothing else to focus on. With how many good shows keep coming out now compared with way back when I started it's easy to fill out my required watch time and still have a giant backlog I will never get through.

Like, they'll back you if they agree, but if they don't, they don't hesitate to doxx you. This is why getting into the community is hard. Kind of like the HeroAca (fandom) of music. IT'S NOT EVERYONE, I CAN'T STRESS THAT ENOUGH.

  • As an ex Genshin Player (not pro).. I just learned that there's nothing much to it, except for the story, quests and side quests.. The primogems and gacha system, which made it exciting but immediately became tedious, apart from farming materials for your characters and weapons, and accessories which also became time consuming, especially for a person who has a lot of work and just making time to play the game. It kills me when I got enough primogems to pull for 1 or 2 10s in a row but in the end didn't got the character or weapon in which the reason I pulled it for. In the end, the reason I quit Genshin is because I don't have much time to do those things and I don't have enough money to but gems to exchange for primogems.

  • There's only like 6-10 stories to tell, the average person doesn't see 'that many' tv shows or movies in their lifetimes. The more you make anime and/or movies your one free time hobby and just spamming through every single movie or anime you see the same story over and over and over at a much faster rate. I don't understand how people Shonen jump from ages 6-25 before realizing they're all basically the same story and then getting turned off the genre forever

It's hard to fucking get rid of this game. I actually fucking stopped now for like 3 years then riot fucking decides to release a mobile port of the game. • The solution of having to much media input. Or being force fed content. Is to seperate the tools from your daily life. Conner said it well, that he don't care for a lot of the updates he receive. So a simple solution is to have a working computer, where all the working related programs, facetube, youbook, twitterbird etc on it. So you can only be bombarded by info, when you sit down to focus on working, and using them as the tools they are. If you let them continue to fight for your attention during the day, you will burn out and will never be able to relaxe, and enjoy the content that you really care for. I personally are not having anything with a notification on my phone, as I don't want to be stressed out by stuff that I don't care for. On the other hand, if I have to use twitterbird as part of work, then I keep keep it on my work phone where I can close it down when my hours are done for the day. That way one can separate work and life, and thus have a better day, and focus on just being one self when one want to be, instead of being the ragdoll between the big internet giants that try to fight for your attention with notifications and blinging and honking sounds etc. But I could go on about it for hours, and I'll spare you for it in this comment. Hope you guys figure out a good way around it, and yes Joey, I watched them all so fare and I will keep pressing on for more. Also ps, put a microphone directly on Conner as he is very lively on set, and moves away from the stationary microphone. The audio quality will be better if the mice was above him or even better if it was on him. Great work guys, hope you all have a great day.

I mean I'm one of those who started to lose interest in it since the goats meta, but yeah, that game used to be fun with heroes having soft counters instead of hard counters and then the game became rock paper scissor battle of what hero to choose if your opponent is using a set of heroes. Kinda missed it, but now I don't think I can handle that game anymore.

  • Anime becomes mainstream when bullies start to watch anime. First you get bullied for doing something "wierd", like watching anime or playing videogames. Then it gets accepted, and doing those thigs isn't the reason for someone being bullied. And when the bullies start to do the "wierd" thing then that thing has gone mainstream

    rikulairikulaiUukausi sitten
  • I think Joey should try LN. I faced same thing like him. I burned out anime. It's so predictable, many used same jokes, skits and plot so I get bored so easily.(except One piece) For manga, heck I burned out that way faster. To the point I read Manwha and Manhua. And about burned both two as well if not I read novel. If you get sick with anime, because how slow it coming out new season or episode, maybe the animation is not satisfied for you. Read novel. I believe any people watch Anime and read Manga wouldn't have any issues read novel as well. You might not get used it. But once you get used to it, heck everything written in novel projects a animation to you.

  • The reason why I can't condone trash talk in league specifically is because most of the trash talk is done between teammates and none of it is in good fun. It's always derogatory and spiteful. Trash talk between teams can be fine-ish, but then when one team starts, the losing team will inevitably take that start, and turn it into an opportunity to blame their own team members out of frustration.

  • 1:50:43 - for me, I use subscriptions on FIboth to remember who people are so the sub feed on my account is usually just full of tons of random stuff I don’t really care about. To get my FIboth videos for each day, I have notifications turned on for every channel I remotely care about seeing videos from and I use my notification section as my feed. Oh and also, I usually go through whenever I’m busy and save any video I care about to my watch later. Once I’m done sorting through my notifs like that, I usually do a quick sweep through the recommended section and save any other videos I care about to my watch later. Most of the time though once I watch a video I forget to remove it from my watch later playlist so it now has like 3,000 videos in it and I’ve probably watched like half of them already Does anyone else do that or am I the only one who actually uses the FIboth notifications/watch later combo haha
