Very interesting video! Thanks!
you guys should make real OEM transparent valve covers since a decent amount of newer cars use plastic covers instead of metal ones, same with the oil pan alot of newer cars use plastic oil pans
superb work
I think this lads should go to a science museum
Officially my favorite Russian
really love the honesty. dude has probably seen and fixed thousands of engines and ohter stuff, but still gets excited to actually SEE the stuff he was working on for decades and is honest/modest about it. "Now we understand" indeed
Wow, I'm glad I watched this video, that's legitimately helpful, thank you :)
I was expecting the oil to run pure black within seconds
the camera is about as wide as putin
What started off as a funny idea turned into something that changes your view on how an engine works. Great job, guys!
I'd like to see this done on a Oldsmobile V8 it is said that at 4000- 5250 +RPM the the Olds oil pump sucks the oil pan dry and oils the rocker arms and valve cover aera due to the oil return passage in the head not allowing the oil to return fast enough to the oil pan
Way Kool
Reo rod wishbones.....interesting???
Awesome
The anxious america july include because goose preoperatively retire towards a ahead cricket. assorted, chilly truck
I've never understood why car companies don't offer transparent valve covers on their engines. I would love to have a set for all of my cars and motorcycles.
This is awesome. Wish we had this when I was in school 20 years ago
It'd be nice to see what happens if you overfill the oil
Transparency Russian style!
👍👍👍👍👍👍😎
Metal shavings? Stick a strong magnet against the plexiglass.
Awesome Brother 👍🌠
why didnt you idiots just let the sheets of plastic heat up longer
Do a magnet that attract metal shavings would help a motor get rid of impurities on the bottom pan? could use a small enough to still see but big enough to attract the metal. oh I get it... that's why there is a oil filter ahah
8:30 I'm quite sure his colleague is as high as shit
Please guys - I cannot get over the non-adidas tracksuits here.

Garage54 по-английски😂😂😂
Could you find a worst car😂😂
I wonder if they used a polarized lens filter and shined a light you could see the engine internals past the reflection in the plastic
Dont like how you talk
What year is that "car". Looks like the latest in 1960's auto technology.
It's a Lada/VAZ-2105 probably made after the mid 90s. Well, it's built on the same platform as the Fiat 124 which was produced in the mid 60s.
cheese burger
Nuts...but fun to watch !! a bit of light from behind would show a bit more detail...good one!!
I have an idea. Hope you will try it. Will a car stop faster on one wheel with adding more roters.
What about crankcase compression
That was good I’m in pressed
That, suction process is very painful to watch. But I guess it's new toy in shop.
I watched the frozen oil one first. Ain't no Niagara Falls there! lol
might go add some more oil seeing how much is left after being sucked up 😖 its almost empty
I wonder how it'd work if you replaced the oil with whatever cleaning liquid is best to clean the engine, and ran it for a little bit
Make an entire transparent car!
... in Siberia, the oil checks the _driver_ - to see who's gonna wear-down first...
JB weld plastic if you guys have it in Russia
That first oil looked like it had water in it or something.
What about a full transparent engine?
That is very cool to see the enter workings of the engine while running, would like high/tall valve covers with fins on top for high lift cam roller rockers, if you offer them custom made I would like a pair for my 327 ci Chevy small block in my 1940 ford Deluxe Coupe! Please sir?
Head gasket is going, thats coolant mixing in with the fresh oil.
Thank You for the cool video. God Bless you guys.
Look how quickly the oil aerated
Amazing 👍👍👍👍👍
8:25 ...... The kid in the driver's seat looks SOOOO FUCKING STONED!!!! LMMFAO!!😂🤣😂🤘🏻
Auto-mechanic porno !
That was really interesting. I’ve seen another video of someone doing much the same thing to a diff to show why the shape of the diff-housing is important.
This channel is absolutely amazing. These Russian dudes are just top notch at entertaining AND informing.
First run that oil was massively aerated because it was sucking air on the pickup due to insufficient oil volume. Pretty cool to see but I'm glad this isn't my car.
This channel is awesome.
That was cool thank you
И ни одного русского комментария
All you’re gonna see is the crank and rods
Tell me Ivan's not stoned. Sure looks like it.
Wow
Need Russian girls in these videos
О, да вы из англии
гидрофаллос
Too much talking...
Clean with degreaser and no oil
Thank you
That was an awesome video. I hope we can see more. Please. When you get the engine cleaned out please show us another video with transparent oil pan and valve covers.
Thank you for this video. I learned something
Did anyone notice the home made front wishbones. They were made from 'reo bar' (Oz) or 're bar' (US). Only in Russia. Love the channel....
This guy talks funny.
You needed at add a breather on the valve cover so it wouldn't blow off like it did. Excess blow by pressured the crankcase with no where to go. But it was great to watch!
Transparent transmission
BMI Russians badass, awesome video, thanks for Sharing.
Dude doth not trusteth thy RTV compound.
That's a sweet ride
Hahahaha Look at the front control arms (lol). They're made of concrete rebar!
Next.. Change engine oil with vodka..
Cool.
ZAEBAL ты и здесь деньги зарабатываешь?)))
Awesome video.
Blown headgaskets. To.much plastic on it
I wonder how they came up with the idea for clear parts. By any chance, are vodka bottles clear?
seems low on oil
Russian innovation at its best! Great stuff.
At 5:50 is that a welder rebar
That was a bit of alright
Dude @ 8:30 looks like he hasn't slept....ever
Ничего не понятно, но очень интересно.
At 8:49 the valve cover gets loose and let's oil drip out the side. Did anyone else catch that?
Why the hell am I obsessed with oil!?
better to watch this channel then sitting in automobile classes during engineering
Brighter Oil might have helped better. I want to know how much Oil was put in a first place? The Bowl looked pretty full and then it all was sucked in. How many ml of oil below minimum level was in a first shot?
Cool
Very interesting and very well done. Great job!
