A few years ago I tried making transparent wood and it kind of worked. The pieces that I made were somewhat okay, but I was never really happy with the result.
I finally decided to try it again though!

  • Off topic but I took the acid out of a calcium lead battery from a car I planned to use the acid for electro plating but my solution is cloudy and when left settles on 2 parts I can see my nickle has dissolved as I have the green colour but it's a strange concoction is there a way of testing to see what I have in my solution before I just neutralise it and start a fresh with the correct ingredients? Also not so much information on calcium lead batteries as to what the acid used is

  • Okay so I have a question that I've been thinking about, so obviously pressure can turn liquids into solids, and heat can turn solids into liquids. Could pressurize something to where the liquid inside would freeze, but then you also raise the temperature to the point where it would normally be boiling while it remained a solid because of the pressure.
