  • I would be great if NASCAR ever came over and raced at Monaco. I wonder if any F1 drivers would cross over if that ever happened for such a race? Also would love to see some of the F1 drivers come over and race in NASCAR, dealing for example with "scraping paint" with the "Good Old Boys" of NASCAR at places like Bristol Motor Speedway (half-mile track that seats 160,000) for 500 laps of "scraping paint" or a place like Talledega or Daytona where you're trying to avoid "the big one!" Also would love to see F1 deal with say a 400 lap race at Bristol on that half-miler.

  • Marvelous! An event from and for old white men! As nice as it s to see these historic cars race isn't it surprising to see that only old white men own them. What a closed society!

    Felix FoersterFelix Foerster19 päivää sitten
    • @Aaron Bitta Well, the whole point of it is, that you assume that non-white people are a minority which in fact isn't true. But still black people (and other) are treated as if they'd be some minor groups of people who therefor naturally aren't as much represented...

      Felix FoersterFelix Foerster17 päivää sitten

    • @hellobooom A:those wings are of course multi-part, so yes it can be made by 3D printer, but why should you? Aluminium is easy and low cost to manufacture,we can still make aluminium wings the original way at low costs. 3d printing is good for making engine parts, filter, casings etc. In combination with 3d object scanners you can make metal parts as named above at relative low cost and low construction time, you can improve the original design of the object in CAD. I hoped you learned something smartass

      FazmagaricalFazmagarical18 päivää sitten
    • @Fazmagarical They were absolutely at a race pace. Alesi set his fastest lap in 1'32"5. Considered the new chicane introduced in 1986 slowed the track about 2", it were a 1'30"5 in the 1976 layout (which was almost the same of today apart the new chicane). It was worted a 3rd line in the 1976 starting grid, with a 1974 car! Ok, perhaps the tarmac is better today, as the tyres and perhaps some curves like at the pools are a bit wider... anyway Alesi and Werner were FAST.
